Borneo

Best time to go: Borneo is best visited between March and October. It has a tropical climate so is hot and humid for much of the year. The temperatures rise just before the rainy season starts in November.

Must see: No trip to Borneo is complete without a trip to see the Orangutans in their natural habitat. For a once in a lifetime experience, relax on the beautiful white sand of Selingan Island as you watch the sun go down, before witnessing the Green Turtles lay their eggs and releasing the hatchlings back into the wild. 

For couples who like... Exotic wildlife and exploration – to truly experience the country spend time in a canoe on the Kinabatangan River, trek to the top of Kota Kinabalu or relax on the islands amazing beaches.

Sri Lanka

Best time to go: Location, location, location - it’s all about where you want to visit or stay and at what time of year. For such a small island, the weather can be classified by two very different climates.December to March is the best time to visit the west and south coasts. On the east coast you will get the best weather between May and September

Must see: Climb a sacred mountain, spot leopards in Yala National Park, relax in a hammock on a beautiful beach or share a cup of tea at one of the many plantations.

For couples who like... Up close encounters with wildlife. The blue whales come really close to land at the southern tip of the country from January to April. Visiting the famous elephant sanctuaries for the safest way to get up close to these magnificent animals.

Zambia

Best time to go: The best time for game viewing is during the dry season of May to October which also have pleasantly mild temperatures.

Must see: Some of the best, unspoilt safari landscapes in Africa featuring spectacular wildlife. The iconic and beautiful Victoria Falls; one of the Seven Natural Wonders of the World.
