Nordic

Best time of year - The summer season of July and August is the height of season and the countries bask in a warmth, the daylight hours are long and all attractions are open. Christmas offers a sense of warmth in an otherwise season of cold and colourful Christmas Markets are very festive.

Things to do - We are proud to feature Iceland and the wonderful natural beauty of this amazing country created by Ice and Fire and the hugely varied array of natural wonders to see and activities and experiences to do.

Destination low down - The Nordic countries of Iceland, Denmark, Finland, Norway and Sweden (including Greenland and the Faroe Islands)

Weather - The shoulder season of May and June and September and October are less busy and although variable for weather are perhaps a better option if you want to escape the crowds. Winter is not a great time to visit unless winter sports are your reason for visiting and the days are very short.
